Sylvia Stephens

Ms. Sylvia Ann Stephens, age 71, daughter of the late James (Jr.) and Gladys Stephens, formerly of the Iron Hill Community, Tabor City, NC entered eternal rest Monday, September 13, 2021, in New Haven, Connecticut.

Walk through viewing will be Friday, September 17, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside service will be Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Stephens-Wright Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Surviving to cherish her memories are sister, Joyce S Bellamy, brothers, James Stephens, Freddie Stephens, Milton Stephens, and Kenneth Stephens.

Mask are required at both viewing and graveside services.

My Sincere condolences to Sylvias family. What a Beautiful Beautiful tribute of her I am the daughter of her best friend Mae Carrington in New Haven,CT. When my mom passed Sylvia took good care of my sisters and me and my baby son. I lived with her. My heart is broken because we Love this Great Woman soo much! She is our Godmom. Sylvia and I grow up together in Ironhill. We attended Douglass High School and graduated in the class of 1968. We were great friends. She will always be remembered for her kindness and great smile.
