Mr. Avail Gore, age 68, of the Green Acres Community, Tabor City, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at his residence.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, 106 S Lewis St, Tabor City, NC 2846

The Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, 106 S Lewis St, Tabor City, NC 28463. Burial will follow in the Faulk Family Cemetery, 5910 Dothan Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rachel Gore; son, Anthony Kelly; stepdaughter, Michelle Gerald; three sisters, Sharon Sykes, Marcella Faulk Farmer, and Rosa Faulk Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
