Ms. Lillian will always hold a special place in our hearts. I met Ms. Lillian through my mother, Patricia Baldwin Adams. From the first moment we met, she treated me and my family- like family. Her maternal instinct was always warm, welcoming, loving and REAL. She was always willing to offer unconditional love-always willing to share her love for gardening, and even mailing a special care package for my children. We enjoyed her when she visited us in our home, and enjoyed our time with her in Tabor City. She was a giver. Giver of knowledge, humble, seeking nothing in return but genuine friendship and understanding. I would like to extend the upmost sympathy and condolences to Kelsey as Ms. Lillian just loved her grandson. She will be missed, and I appreciate ALL the moments she shared with us, as she was just like family. Having Ms. Lillian in our lives was a gift of God. She was truly an example of what all people should thrive to be. From Chris, Sage, James and Little Roxie Washington of Greensboro, NC

Dear Family,Our love & prayers are with you. "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." Matt 5:4
Lillian will always be in my heart & memories. She was truly a phenomenal woman. ALWAYS QUICK TO GIVE AND SLOW TO TAKE. Lillian has left her mark on her family church Dothan community friends and her beloved Eastern Stars.
I first met Lillian over 20 years ago. She became a genuine sister from our first meeting. She was such a blessing to so many families. She believed in God's work as a missionary doing for others.
Over the years my family and I can bear witness to her kind and giving spirit always doing because she cared. If everyone she touched wrote a tribute all the space would be filled!
Lillian loved her special God daughter Cherel Simmons who was more like a daughter. She was there for Lillian during many of her darkest times especially these past few years. Cheryl showed Lillian so much love care and concern. She would want me to say Thank You to her.
Rest well my sister, you have earned your peace and your place in heaven. There are many we love waiting to greet you PATRICIA BALDWIN ADAMS & FAMILY
