Mrs. Luberta Smith Hunter, age 57, of Tabor City, NC gained Heavenly Wings on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC.

Viewing will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, NC 

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 11:00 am in the South Columbus High School Auditorium, 40 Stallion Drive, Tabor City, NC 28463. A burial will follow in the Mt Tabor Memorial Garden, Cerro Gordo, NC 28430.

Surviving to cherish her memories are her husband, Bobby Hunter, two daughters; Jeanne Norris, and Sheronda White, three sons; Bobby Smith, Jamine Smith, and Jonathan Smith, brother, Johnny Smith, four sisters; Emma Williams, Margaret James, Charlane Evans, and Paula Sumter.
