Mary Laing

Mrs. Mary Laing, age 95 of Tabor City, N.C. passed on Thursday January 4, 2018 at the Liberty Health and Rehab Center in Whiteville, N.C.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Holiness Church, Tabor City, N.C. Burial will follow in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to and following the service.

Surviving are her four daughters; Nancy Purcha Barker, Mary Dale Purcha Smith, Hattie Mae Hiwatha Purcha Bessant, and Patsy Ann Purcha Crosland. Four sons; Paul Purcha, Dennis Purcha, William Purcha, and Randy Purcha. Three sisters; Zada Griffin, Adell Lewis, and Margaret Thomas.
