I remember Ms. Sturdivant when I attended Williams Township School. She was always a very sweet lady. I won't ever forget her. Prayers for her family.

Ms. Retha was a great friend to my mother and a stupendous educator with the Columbus County School System. I can just imaging her in heaven singing with her angelic voice " Lord Please Don't Move This Mount But Give Me Strength To Climb". Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. May God continue to hold you in the palm of His hand, and give you strength in the days ahead. Please accept our sincere condolences.....we hope your memories of Ms. Retha will be of some comfort. The Sturdivant and Pierce family are in our prayers. Remember in God's Holy Word that weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.
Peace and love be with you, Lee Ethel Vereen, Vance, Mittie, Thomas and Bryson McCoy of Wadesboro, NC

So sad to hear this...I remember Mrs. Sturdivants beautiful smile and her kindness; enjoyed her French class at Williams Township. May God give comfort and strength to all the family and friends during this time of loss.
