Mr. Terry Strickland, age 63, of the Dothan Community, Tabor City, N C passed on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at The UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, N C.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 3:00 pm at New Light A M E Church, Dothan Community, Tabor City, N C. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery, Dothan, N C.

Viewing will be Saturday ,October  26, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, one hour prior to and following the service.

Surviving to cherish his memories are his wife, Rev. Betty Farmer-Strickland, one daughter; Morisha Farmer, Whiteville, N C, one son, Tervon Strickland, Tabor City, N C, four sisters; Selena Strickland, Forest Park, GA, Grace Sidbay, Lumberton, N C, Durine Strickland, Whiteville, N C,  Margie Strickland, N  Y,  two brothers, Larry Strickland, Pensacola, FL, Elbert Strickland, Columbus, GA, and nephew, Kary Strickland, Whiteville, N C.
